Evening bliss

Jaakko Eino Kalevi entered my life a year ago, or something. Not important. Glad he came in. He took his shoes off, and introduced himself. Glad he did. Puns apart, this advance for his new album, named after himself, is a really good introduction for whoever wants to know the music this man makes. He's finnish, and that's no reason at all to think that his songwriting would be cold. In fact, his music his heartwarming and absorbing. The heart can be a warm place too. The whole song is like a misty dream, joining the bass, the light drums and guitars, and the synths in blissful harmony. The synths on this song, create a loop that drives us away. Far. And i'm thankful for it.

High on love - class act

Elizabeth Harper, aka Class Actress, is back with two new singles, both from new EP Movies. More poignant stuff from a class act that is most beloved by this guy who writes these lines to whoever reads them. Her voice sways throughout both tracks with grace, whispering in our ears gently like a summer breeze, eyes focused on the horizon. Accompanied by living legend Giorgio Moroder, producer of this record, who, i think, does not need any introductions, Class Actress continues to deliver sweet melodies, delicious and scrumptious beats. Something more for the summer, even though the rain persists outside, knocking in the windows. Well, anyway i love the sound of rain beating gently on the windows. So, all cool.

Things to embrace blindly

She's Ukrainian. She's Nata. Owner of a powerful, beautiful voice. As smooth as striking. She's part of ONUKA, meaning granddaughter in Ukrainian, a hommage to her grandfather. The other half of ONUKA is Eugene Filatov. Together they made a haunting, synthesizers-driven album, untitled after the band's name. This is stuff to listen over and over, drawing pleasure from each beat, from each sway of Nata's voice. This is stuff to love and welcome in you soul.

Shura's here to stay

Shura's music came to me recently, few months ago, wonderfully and majestically thrown at me, sent into my heart via my ears. Cheesy, but true. She's back with one more fine track. Well, pardon me and my french, but a fucking awesome new track. The hell with "fine". It's fresh, it throws you punches in the stomach, and it makes you get up and dance. With eyes closed. Shura is an undeniable talent with a brilliant future. No need clairvoyance for that. It's all there. Thank you.
